About Me
My name is Kylie Bennett and I am the one woman operation of Fabulously Fierce. I have always been crafty... having a mother who's favorite saying was, "We can make that!" really helped instill the Do-It-Yourself (DIY) attitude in me. I started Fabulously Fierce at the beginning of 2008. I was searching for some alternative home decor and just wasn't liking what I was finding, so following the above mantra I decided "I can make it!". My personal style is pretty eclectic, and I wanted to bring that into my work.
The whole DIY lifestyle has become very important to me. In an age where everything is manufactured in huge faceless factories, I feel we have lost that personal connection between creator and buyer. DIY creations are striving to bring that back. There are so many talented people in the world who are working to bring their craft into the public eye without succumbing to the corporate nightmare. That is why I am so passionate about making my items by hand where my hard work and attention to detail can really shine through.
I am surrounded by amazing family, friends and a network of DIY crafters who have made this journey to bring my ideas to a reality a tremendously fulfilling one. I would not have been able to do this without them.
